Collision Industry Day 2005

This year's Collision Industry Day, which took place Sept. 16th at Portland Community College's Rock Creek campus, featured four excellent presentations:

  1. Insurer Roundtable: What changes are coming in State Farm's 'Service First' program? How will insurers respond to the reversal of the national non-OEM parts lawsuit? Top national claims executives from such companies as State Farm and AIG participated in a panel discussion moderated by industry leader, Chuck Sulkala.
  2. OEM Presentation: The latest information for collision shops from automakers.
  3. Regulator Presentation: DEQ on state and national guidelines - current and future - regarding waterborne paints, backyarders, and other environmental issues.
  4. Luncheon Keynote on the State of the Industry: SCRS Executive Director Dan Risley shared national perspectives on key industry issues and what they mean for Northwest shops.
