Education

Oregon’s high school and community college automotive education programs provide the industry with trained individuals who have studied and practiced in the automotive trades (including mechanical repair and autobody and collision repair). These schools and their instructors are members of NATA and support their trade association.

Automotive programs in Oregon and Southwest Washington are in need of advisory committee members and judges for student automotive competitions. They also need donated car parts and pieces to learn from like engines, transmissions, auto bodies, and more. Contact each school for their specific needs.

We recognize the difficulty many of you are having in filling openings in your business. Here is contact information for individuals responsible for job placement at area community colleges.
